Hello everybody!!
Well, Emilie made it to Christmas without being sick enough to go back to Saskatoon. We made it through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. We found ourselves in the ER in North Battleford on Christmas for a couple of hours. Emilie wasn't feeling well and was starting to look quite pale. So we took her in. They took chest xrays and blood tests and she was put on antibiotics.
She's feeling better again and is back to her old self. She is clapping her hands a lot more and loves singing. It was so nice to be home this Christmas as a whole family.
We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma's for supper and then we had our own little celebration at home, just before putting the kids to bed. They each opened two gifts. One was a pair of pajamas, which they wore that night and the other was a special gift from mom and dad. Taylor opened a long awaited "big Buzz". (From Toy Story). Emilie opened a ballerina music box, a gold ring, and a special "plaque" for her room.
Christmas Day we spent at Grandma's again. Opening presents and having turkey dinner with Uncle Rob and Auntie Tracy, Jessie, Becky, and Greg, Auntie Lori and Dallas, Uncle Jason, and of course Grandma and Grandpa. We all had a good time (except Emmy, who wasn't feeling well - she wanted to sleep all day, but she loved the present time).
Daddy and Emilie when home to bed after the hospital and I snuck back to Grandma's to play American Idol on PS2. We all had a blast!!
Boxing Day we had dinner at our house with Auntie Jeanette and Escence, Auntie Beatrice, Grandma Dzeylion, and Auntie Adele and Harold. Leanna and Brendon came a bit later with baby Brooklyn.
Then I had the bright idea to switch Taylor and Emilie's rooms. Taylor wasn't happy. He thought we would get stuck with Bambi on his walls and Emilie would get his CARS room. I reassured him that the cars were coming with him. Emilie's room was tranformed into a Princess room. (She LOVES Cinderella). This took me the whole week (with one day of going into Saskatoon for appointments) to go through things and organize them. I'm still not quite finished. Please pray for me that procrastination will NOT be an issue to get this stuff done.
Please pray that God will keep Emilie in great health and that she will NOT have to go back to Saskatoon. Please pray for her to make more progress in the motor skills that she is working on. (See videos on my multiply site)

Emilie had her 2nd birthday party on April 6, 2008. We celebrated in Saskatoon with family and dear friends. (Including a few of Emilie's nurses). It was a great celebration. Emilie's theme was Disney's Princesses. She absolutely LOVES Cinderella. We want to thank those who attended. Unfortunately, I don't update on here so much anymore.
